Giving

Giving is a way to honor God by: giving back what He has entrusted to us. It’s not about the amount, but the sincerity of the heart behind it (2 Cor. 8:12). The Bible encourages us to give cheerfully, not because we feel pressured, but out of love and gratitude for how God has moved in our lives, and for what we've learned through the preaching.

As it says in 2 Corinthians 9:7 (KJV), “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” When a sermon truly speaks to us, and we feel God’s presence in the message, giving becomes an expression of thankfulness, an offering to God from the heart.
